New Years of 2021 we were still pretty locked down, so Lauren made the choice to have her wisdom teeth removed on December 30th, 2020 so that she could recover during the holiday season. She had some fun chipmunk cheeks for the New Year!

Lauren, age 18, is a Freshman in college!! Lauren continued her job at Cranellis until leaving for college. Lauren’s love for gymnastics continued. She was able to finish off her gymnastics career in both club and high school gymnastics. She finished off placing 2nd in Regionals for her last meet ever!! Lauren continues to be involved in several activities! She has joined several clubs at school. She finished with FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) virtually, of course, as well as DECA (prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe) and was involved in several virtual DECA competitions

Lauren is dating a great young man she met at college, Tyler Parker. We enjoy hanging out with him and getting to know him.

Parker turned 22!! Parker made the decision to leave Mod Pizza to pursue an opportunity to manage at DTC nutrition. He is helping lots of people get healthy! Parker continues to work on content creation in his spare time. Parker was a groomsman in Austin and Elizabeth’s wedding. Parker still enjoys gaming and has taken some time to teach Scott and I, which is pretty funny to watch!! Parker is still dating Holly Sparrow. They always have fun together and laugh often!

Austin turned 25, quarter of a century, on the 24th of January!! Austin now works for Auto Pay in Auto refinance. Austin worked from home most of 2021. He is really liking his job! Austin and Elizabeth got married on October 7th, 2021 at St. John’s Church and School and had their reception at Balistreri Vineyards in Denver! It was a stunningly beautiful wedding! The rehearsal dinner was a Crannies where we surprised them with all the guests and staff singing, “I Say a Little Prayer” with oven mitts on. It was a blast!

Nala is our sweet dog. She will be 4 in April. She brings a lot of joy to our home!!

Monica has now been a school nurse consultant for 5 ½ years!! This year continues to be one of the hardest and most trying as parents and school staff have strong opinions about vaccines, masks, and virtual versus in-person schooling. She was the high school gymnastics team mom again for the last time. We were super blessed to be able to have a gymnastics banquet in person to honor the senior gymnasts!!

Still no Leadville Race! Maybe in the future? Scott celebrated his three-year anniversary as a partner of CS Wines. Scott has been out of the house much more this year to visit all of his accounts. It’s been nice for him to connect with everyone in person again. No hospital stays or major injuries??!!

Our church has a new pastor, Kurt Taylor. It has been a true blessing to see the church fill up with people in person again.

Happy 2022!! God bless you all!
