Life doesn't ever slow down at the Moyer house!! From son up to son down (and beyond) it is non-stop noise, chaos, many messes, and lots of love (and some fighting and some bickering, too, along the way)!
Jacob is now 12 and in the sixth grade. He loves soccer, reading good books (which makes JJ very happy!), and playing Magic with friends. He is loving Middle School and the variety of classes he is able to take. He also enjoys Scouting and being able to participate in some of the more challenging activities.
Titan is 11 and in the fifth grade. He loves playing soccer, hanging out with friends, playing Magic, and can always be found with headphones on listening to a good book or rocking out to some music. He is always willing to lend a hand and loves taking on new challenges. Both he and Jacob practiced mowing lawns this year and were hired for several recurring jobs that helped to fund their Magic addictions. They look forward to the Spring and Summer when they can start making money again!
Beckett is 7, and he is loving the first grade. He is still passionate about Nerf guns and totally obsessed with weapons and anything to do with the Army. He has a great imagination and comes up with elaborate games that he loves to play with Caleb and his friends. Beckett loves to be with his friends and begs often to be able to go out and play with the neighbors. We feel blessed to live in a great area where there are many children for him to play with.
Caleb is 5. He is my pajama-loving boy and most of the time will only change into regular clothes for preschool. He enjoys going to preschool, picking out books at the library and sitting in my lap to read them. He is passionate about his tools, and he enjoys roller skating with the neighbors. He is fiercely independent and likes to do things his own way. When questioned about certain things (for example his shoes on the wrong feet), he will respond by saying, "I like it that way!" Caleb is such a good big brother to the triplets and I think he enjoys being in the role of the of the "Ring Leader" as they eagerly follow him and do what he says.
McKade is 3, and he is our little chatterbox. All day long he talks, talks, talks! He loves his puppy dog, pretending he is a puppy dog, or pretending one of his brothers is a puppy dog. He can be quite the fireball, but then he's docile and loving two minutes later. McKade loves playing with tractors and work trucks and he always jumps at a chance to get outside, especially to ride his bike.
Bowen is 3, and he likes things to be a certain way. His bed is filled with his favorite trucks (he doesn't want his brothers to take), books, and other precious items. He fills his backpack every day with certain toys and a change of clothes and then wears it around the house all day long. (He often takes my car keys and puts them in my backpack. Luckily he always knows where they are when I ask.) This boy is super independent and he is my one that will run ahead because he knows where he wants to go, and he has to get there fast! He loves being read to and will jump at a chance to climb into your lap for a story.
Zeke is 3, and he has the best facial expressions of any of my boys. You don't have to ask what he is thinking or how he is feeling, it is always written on his face, and it makes me laugh! Zeke loves to tag along with Caleb and do whatever he is doing. Zeke is very detail-oriented, and he is my one who will sit and work on craft projects until he gets them just how he wants them to be, down to the small details. He is my best of the three when it comes to getting dressed by himself. He can now put on and take off all of his snow clothes by himself, and I'm loving it!
Jared is still working at Air Methods but has slid back into Engineering and is the new Engineering Manager. He enjoyed his time as Project Manager and had some really neat opportunities to travel around the world [especially to Italy, Germany and Canada] to different customers. Jared is also serving as the Stake Young Men's President and loves working with the boys ages 12-18 who are in our area. Jared also loves cheering on our own boys in their sports ventures and he hopes to find more time to get back in the pool himself.
As for me...my days are filled with chasing after my boys, going to the park, playing trucks and trains, feeding my small army, as well as cleaning up after everyone, running the household, and endless hours of being the bus driver! One of these days I will actually get a full night's sleep, but for right now I have to remind myself that sleep is overrated!
We love the chaos and hustle-bustle that comes with having a large family and we count our blessings daily that we get to call these boys ours!
